The studio
Summary
The main studio at Action Studios comprises 280 sqm of flexible studio space, divided by four structural columns. The studio is equipped with a permanently installed Prolyte truss system, offering 6.25 metres of clear height between the floor and the underside of the truss, providing excellent possibilities for lighting, rigging and technically demanding productions.
General
- Floors, walls, pillars, etc. can be repainted if necessary. Contact us for more information.
- Opportunity to work (filming, lighting, special effects, acting, etc.) from our catwalk 4.2 meters above the studio floor. Perfect for filming more extreme bird's-eye or frog-eye perspectives.
- Water and rain effects are made possible thanks to a floor drain.
- Stunts involving fire, electricity, etc. are possible under certain conditions. Contact us for more info.
- We have a makeup room including a mirror with adjustable light (dimmer & color temperature).
- The studio floor slopes slightly in some places.
Loading
Loading takes place either via loading dock B – opposite the padel club – or next to the Alcro store, beyond loading dock A, where we have our own parking space.
Parking
Parking permits are available for those who want to park inside the gates (SEK 50/day per vehicle).
It is also possible to park on Johannesfredsvägen outside the property.
The area is within the City of Stockholm's fare zone 5.
Elevator & ramp
For heavy and bulky material, transport down to the studio takes place via an elevator measuring 3.1 x 2.3 x 2.3m and the ramp which are 1.1 m wide.

Powerful PA system with DJ console and microphone.
Light
We don't provide in house film or photography lighting, but Ljud & Bildmedia is located just 100 meters away.
Background stand & chromakey backdrop
For chroma key filming, we have truss stands and trusses in place. Chroma key fabric can easily be rented in various sizes from Ljud & Bildmedia.
Ladder
We have a large A-frame ladder on wheels that reaches all the way up to the ceiling.

Makeup
Makeup room with fixed dimmable light and adjustable color temperature.
Dressing room
Currently, we do not have a separate dressing room.
Kitchen
Kitchenette with multiple refridgerators, a dishwasher, a coffee maker and more.
